In 1967 the Beetle received again a facelift: It received new bumpers and new head lights.
And in 1967 the cheap VW 1200 model was reintroduced. It had less equipment and the bumpers from the pre-facelift model.
The Beetle was built until 1978 in Germany and until 2003 in Mexico. The Beetle was imported from Mexico to Europe until 1985.
