The IFA F8 was identical to the pre-war DKW F8 Meisterklasse. The car was first shown in 1948 still badged as DKW.
When the production started, the car was renamed to IFA. It was built in the former Audi-factory in Zwickau and the
convertible received their body from the VEB IFA in Dresden
