Vauxhall was founded in 1903, and was part of General Motors between 1925 and 2009.
Today it is belonging to Magna International. From 1979 on Vauxhall sold rebadged Opel-models in the UK.
The VX Lightning was technically related to the 2002 Pontiac
Solstice Concept, and previewed the later Saturn Sky/Opel GT production model.
