Walter Treser was an engineer working at Audi. in the 1980s he founded
his own company, a customizing factory for audi models.
In 1987 he launched his first own sports car, the Treser T1. It
used several parts from Volkswagen/Audi like the engine (VW Golf II GTI).
But due to problems and bad sales it ruined Treser.
