The postwar range of Talbot Lago were mostly based on the famous Grand Prix eingine, produced in a detuned version, giving 170hp.
Most Records, convertible and saloons were build with factory coachwork, only a few were dressed by specialist coachbuilders.
This car is one of few and probably the most beautiful Record convertible made by Henri Chapron.
The T26 was built between 1946 and 1955.
