The Porsche 997 succeeded the 996. It received a facelift in 2008.
The Porsche 997 was replaced by the 9911 in 2012.
The 911 GT3 based on the 997 was built the same way like the all the GT3 before:
More power, less weight, improved aerodynamics and suspension. All this made it a very fast car.
The RS was again a sportier version of the GT3. It was even lighter and faster.
