The Porsche 908 was the successor to the Porsche 907,
and the predecessor to the Porsche 936.
Although Porsche focused on the developement of the Porsche 917, the 908/2 Spyder
was reworked to the 908/3 Spyder. The new 908/3 was similar to the 909 Bergspyder,
a compact and light race car. It was very successful, it won 3 of the 4 races it was used in.
