Opel presented the Ampera concept in 2009 as a close-to-production study,
the production model is planned to be launched in 2011.
The Ampera is a badge engineered version of the Chevrolet Volt, which is going to be
launched in 2010. These cars are poweres by a electric engine with a gasoline engine
as range extender. (gasoline engine: 1.4l/82hp)
