The Opel Rekord C was the successor to the Rekord B (1965-1966) and predecessor to
the Rekord D (1972-1977). It was one of the most popular cars in Germany in that time.
The Opel Commodore A was identical to the Opel Rekord C, but with more equipment and a different trim level.
The Commodore was very successful, it offered more prestige, power and comfort.
