Officine Meccaniche (OM) was an Italian car and truck manufacturing company, founded in 1899 as Societa Anonima Officine Meccaniche.
The first car was built from 1918, and the last in 1938, when the company was taken over by Fiat.
The production of trucks coninued until 1975. The most famous model was the OM 665, which achieved
several victories in famous races, especially the first Mille Miglia in 1927. Pictures taken in 2009 in the "Cité de l’Automobile – Musée National – Collection Schlumpf" in Mulhouse, France |
