Datsun/Nissan

In 1911 the Kwaishinsha Motorcar Works was founded. 3 years later the production of cars started. The company was renamed to DAT in 1925. 6 years later it changed to Datson. In 1933 Nissan bought Datson, and it was renamed to Datsun. 1966 the Prince Motor Company was taken over, in 1983 the name Datsun was dropped and in 1999 Nissan merged with Renault to Renault-Nissan.
