The Nissan Qashqai was launched as the replacement for the Nissan Almera, it
was a crossover for a conventional compact car. To prevent losing the customer who prefer
a classical shaped compact car, the Tiida was offered in Europe, it was a typical compact car.
In 2011 the second generation of the Tiida succeeded the first one.
