This was the first model of a long series of sports cars. The Datsun/Nissan Z
was one the best selling sports cars of all time, with over 2 mio. sold.
The Datsun/Nissan Z was sold as Fairlady Z in Japan and as 240Z, 260Z, 280Z, 280ZX, 300ZX, 350Z and 370Z elsewhere.
There were 3 variations of the Datsun Z, first generation: short wheelbase/short nose,
short wheelbase/long nose (20cm/7.9in longer) and long wheelbase as a 2+2 seater.
This one is the 2+2-seater with longer wheelbase.
