The Mercedes-Benz W114/115 was the successor to the W110 "kleine Heckflosse" (=little tailfin)
and the predecessor to the W123 (1975-1985). The W114/115 was called "Strich acht" in Germany.
This hearse-body was made by the Italian coachbuilder "Pilato". The large windows and ornate appointments are
typical features of italian hearses.
