This was the first Mercedes with an integral body and the replacement for the Mercedes-Benz 170 (W136).
The W120/121 was replaced by the Mercedes-Benz W110 in 1961.
Mercedes delivered only a chassis to coachbuilder like Miesen and Binz and they built a custom station wagon body on it.
