The famous Mercedes-Benz Typ SS/SSK were followed by the Typ 500K and 540K. Instead of being
very powerful sports cars, the newer 500K/540K were more comfortable, luxury and elegant. They became
as famous and desirable as their predecessor.
The "Autobahn-Kurier" was built with a special streamline body intended for the new "autobahn"-roads in Germany.
