The Mercedes-Benz W21 Type 200 was the replacement for the Typ Stuttgart, and it was technically related
to the W15 170, with the same engine with increased displacement, the same body and chassis.
In 1934/1935 the Type 200 was available with larger bodies, for which the 2liter-engine was to small,
so the engine displacement was increased to 2.3-liter (Type 230) in 1936. This series was replaced by an all-new Type 230 (W153) in 1937.
