The Modell S/SS/SSK/SSKL were one of the most famous cars ever built by Mercedes-Benz. They were based
on The Typ 400/630/Modell K with a larger engine and a lower frame.

It had virtually one owner from 1928 to 2006, originally purchased by Briggs Cunningham for his wife's cousin
Frederick Bedford Jr. of the Rockefeller Standard Oil Company.
