The Mercedes-Benz 8/38PS was first shown at the Berlin Auto Show in 1926. It was well accepted by the public,
but it sold badly because of the high price. Due to technically problems the prodcution lasted only until 1928.
This was the first new car after the merger of Mercedes and Benz, together with the Mercedes-Benz 12/55PS.
