In april 1886 Gottlieb Daimler bought a "Americain"-Carriage, it was delivered in August 1886. Daimler
installed one of his engines into this carriage, and it drove in April 1887 for the first time. It was the first
motorized four wheel vehicle in the world. The cars on the pictures are reproductions, the
original "Motorkutsche" was burnt in a fire in the factory in Bad Cannstatt in 1903.
