The "small" Maybach below the Zeppelin. The Maybach SW35 was succeeded by the SW38 and the SW42.
The engine-size was continuously increased (3.5l -> 3.8l -> 4.2l) to keep the power output at 140hp.
This was necessary because of the decreasing gas quality before WWII.
