This is the third Maserati Quattroporte generation (I: 1963-1970, II: 1974-1978, III: 1976-1990
(after 1986 as "Royale"), IV: 1994-2000, V: 2003-2009). The Quattroporte III was designed by Giorgio Giugiaro and it is
technically related to the Maserati Kyalami with longer wheelbase.
The Quattroporte III was the most successful car of Maserati with more than 2000 cars produced.
