The 3500GT was the successor to the Maserati A6 G54, with a detuned version of the engine from the Maserati Tipo 350S.
The 3500GTIS/Sebring is based on the Maserati 3500GTI, sitting on the same
chassis as the 3500GTI Spider and a body desinged by Michelotti and made by Vignale.
