Lotus

Lotus was founded in 1952 by Colin Chapman. Lotus was (and is still today) producing small, light and fast cars, for road and race. Although the cars were produced in limited numbers, Lotus was quite successful.
In 1982 Colin Chapman died, and since 1996 Lotus is owned by the Malaysian Proton.
