The Lotus Seven was a very light, simple and small sports car, produced between 1957 and 1972 by Lotus.
Its key-feature was its very low weight, therefore only small engines were needed to make this car very fast.
The Lotus Seven succeeded the Lotus Mark VI. When the production of the Seven stopped in 1972, Caterham bought
the license and builds the Caterham Super Seven until today.
