The Lotus Elite was the first production road car of Lotus, and the first car in the world to be built around
a reinforced glass-fibre monocoque structure. The aerodynamics was very advanced, too: the coefficient of drag is a low 0.29.
The car on the pictures was modified for vintage car races.
