Richard Henry Lea and Graham Ingoldsby Francis started the company "Lea-Francis" in 1895
as a bicycles manufacturer. In 1903 the started to build cars, in 1911 to built moto cycles.
Since 1919 the company built cars under license for the Singer company. The company survived until 1963.
