Kia

Kia was founded in 1944 as a manufacture of steel tubing and bicycles. Years later they started to produce cars. In 1986 a partnership with Ford started, selling some Ford/Mazda as Kia and vice versa. This partnership lasted until 1997 when Kia went bankrupt. A year later it was bought by the Hyundai Motor Company.
