Jensen

In 1935 the brothers Richard and Alan Jensen took over W.J. Smiths & Sons and renamed it to Jensen Motors. Until WWII they were a coachbuilder, then, in 1950, the first own car was developed. Jensen produced in limited numbers exotic coupes and convertibles until 1976 when the company went bankrupt. The Name Jensen was 1983 revived with a revised model, but with no success. Another resurrection was tried in 2002, but with no result, too.
