This Jaguar XJ (XJ40) is the
successor of the XJ Series III and was launched in 1986. It
is also called as "XJ Mark II". The XJ12 (XJ81) was
announced
several years before its launch in 1993 and was produced for
only one year, until the XJ40/XJ81 was replaced by the all
new X300.
