The Jaguar XJ6/XJ12 Series 2 was a facelifted version of the XJ6/XJ12 Series 1.
New safety regulations in the USA for bumpers made it nessecary to raise the position of the front bumpers.
The grille was revised, too. The Series 2 was replaced by the Series 3 in 1979.
