The Jaguar C-Type, or XK120C, while "C" stands for "Competition", was based on the Jaguar XK120.
The XK120 was modified to race at the 24Hours of LeMans and other races. It won the 24Hours 1951 and 1953.
The C-Type was succeeded by the D-Type (1954-1957).
