Hotchkiss was a French brand, founded by the US-American Benjamin B. Hotchkiss in 1867.
In the beginning the company produced arms. The first car was built in 1903. In 1956,
Hotchkiss merged with French car manufacturer Brandt, and in the early 1970s the Brand "Hotchkiss disappeared.
