This is the third generation of
the Legend. The first was launched in 1985 as a technical
twin of the Rover 800. It was fully equipped
with nearly every possible comfort detail. But it was (in
Germany) to expensive to compete against BMW 5-Series or
Mercedes E-Class.
(In 1999 the car was facelifted, the car shown here is a
pre-facelift version)
