Gladiator was founded by Alexandre Darracq in 1891 to build bicylces. Later, he started
to construct and produce cars. Darracq sold the Gladiator company and founded the "Automobiles Darracq S.A.".
The name "Gladiator" disappeared in the early 20th century.
