The GAZ 24 Volga was developed as the successor to the GAZ 21 Volga. The first
GAZ 24 Volga prototype was built in 1967, but it lasted until 1970 when the GAZ 24 Volga went into production.
It was built until 1992 with several facelits (1977 and 1985).
