The 456GT was a all-new car presented in 1992. It succeeded the 412i and followed a long tradition
for a 2+2 seats-Gran Tourismo. It was driven by a detuned version of the engine of the 550 Maranello.
The 456M GT was a facelifted version of the 456GT.
