This model was introduced at the carshow of Turin 1971. Its design was revolutionary,
replacing the frontengine Daytona. The midengine, constructed as a flat-12, was
breaking with the traditions of a classical Gran Tourismo.
The engine-performance datas are a little mystery: Ferrari officially rated it with 380hp/325lb-ft/440Nm, but
most sources rate it like the figures given above. Some sources believe, it has only ~344hp. In the same way differs
the car performance: the acceleration from zero to 60 varies between 5.4 and 6.5 seconds.
The officially claimed topspeed was 302kph/188mph, but carmagazine tested it with ~174-175mph/280-281kph.
