The 365GTB/4 Daytona was the successor to the 275GTB/4, and the last front-engine-Ferrari for a long time.
The got the name "Daytona" in 1968 because Ferrari won the 24Hours of Daytona in that year.
The 365GTB/4 was used as a race-car, too. A first series of factory-built Race-Daytonas was built in 1971,
a second and third series followed in 1972 and 1973.
