In 1953 the first Ferrari 250 was shown. It was replaced by the 250 Europe in 1954. The next Evolution was the
Ferrari 250 GT, first presented in Geneve in 1956.
The California-model can be seen as a new interpretation of the
convertible-models based on the 250GT. They were nearly all sold to the United States. Today, they were one of the most
searched models of Ferrari. Very high prices are paid for them (1,000,000-7,000,000€ or $, depending on history).
