The Ferrari 125/159 was the first car made by Ferrari, a few years later, the engine displacement
was increased from 1.5l (1500cc., V12 = 125cc/cylinder, hence the name) to 2.0l, the Ferrari 166
was born (2000cc., V12 = 166cc/cylinder). In 1950 this model was replaced by the Ferrari 195 and 212.
These new models featured again larger engines (195 and 212cc/cylinder).
