Darracq was a French car manufacturer, founded in 1896 by Alexandre Darracq. In these early
years of the automobile Darracq became quite successful. In 1919, Darracq took over Talbot and Talbot cars
were sold as Talbot-Darracq since then. In 1935, the company was bought by the Roots Group.
