The Bugatti Type 57 succeeded the Type 49. The modell was all new and designed by
Jean Bugatti, the son of Ettore Bugatti. It became very successful and famous,
especially because of models like the Atalante or Atlantic.
The "S" in "Type 57S" stands for "surbaissé" (=lowered).
The car on the pictures has chassis no. 57.572 and was built in 1987.
