The Bugatti Type 51 was the successor to the famous and successful Type 35. They shared
the engine (while the Type 51-engine had some improvements) and the body.
The Type 51 was very successful as well. The Type 51A differed from the Type 51
by the engine, it had only 1.5l to fit the 1.5l-class-regulations.
