The Type 35 succeeded the Type 30, and became one of the most famous and successful Bugatti ever built.
The Type 35 won nearly every possible race in the late 20s/early 30s
The Bugatti Type 35A was based on the Type 35 with a detuned engine, it was made as a roadcar for normal customers.
Therefore the price was lower and the car was a success.
