BMW

The company "Rapp Motorenwerke GmbH" was formed by Karl Rapp in 1913, and renamed to BMW in 1917. Until WWII BMW was also building engines for airplanes, and 1923 started the production of motorbikes. Today BMW is a premium manufacture, well known for its high quality, sportive cars.
