The M3 GTR raced in the GT-class of the American LeMans Series (ALMS) since 2001. In 2003 the M3 GTR raced
in 24-hour-races for the first time. It won the 24Hours of Spa in 2004, and on the Nürburgring in 2004 and 2005.
