Berliet was a French carmaker between 1895 and 1939. The company was founded by Mariusz Berliet.
Berliet also started to produce trucks and other commercial vehicles. This became very successful and
Berliet kept building trucks while the procuction of cars was dropped. The company was bought by Citroën in 1967
