The Continental GT was the first Bentley developed under the ownership of Volkswagen.
It had the W12-engine and the technical base of the VW Phaeton.
It was the successor to the Rolls-Royce based Continental R and T.
The Flying Spur was based on the Continental GT with extendes wheelbase.
