This Bentley Continental R followed a long tradition of sport-models based on the large sedans.
As the Continental models in the 1950/1960s, this Continental was based on the sedan-model in that time,
this time it was the Bentley Turbo R. They shared the engines, too. The Continental R was replaced by
the Bentley Continental GT.
